The educational foundations of the University of Kyrenia, which was founded with the mission of “raising graduates who can think objectively, question, research, produce knowledge and value, are creative, attach importance to ethical and moral values, and have a sense of social responsibility with an international quality educational infrastructure”, are based on the formation and implementation of the infrastructure of the first Maritime Faculty in Cyprus by its sister university, the Near East University, in 1978 and its 35 years of experience.
